I wrote this a while back for a project that never took off (my guess, don’t really know what happened). Anyway, I found the file recently and I decided to post it.
What’s your life about, please enlighten you.
What’s this life about, please enlighten me.
In pursuit of fool’s gold or in pursuit of fulfillment
What’s important; the quality of life or its length
Always on the pursuit of happiness, but it’s never permanent
You’re in pursuit of purpose, but you still feel so empty
“All the money in the world and I ain’t fulfilled”
Sometimes, I wonder
All I can do is ponder
“We race hard to our destinies, and trip ourselves as we hurdle through life’s complexities”
I’ll never understand why people dwell on issues that don’t really matter
Even when they know it doesn’t, they still dwell on it
We get distracted, too easily
But who am I to say what really matters, and what doesn’t ?
What shall it profit a man if he gains the world and loses his soul?
What shall it profit a man, to simply exist and not live?
What shall it profit a man to be a world class philanthropist and it’s all for show?
Perhaps, living your life for now makes more sense than worrying about it and the future
“A happy man is one who lives in the moment”
“A wise man is one who thinks of the future”
A fulfilled man is one who lives life to the fullest
Can someone really live life to the fullest?
What’s your definition of success?
What’s your definition of maximal living?
What’s your definition of fulfillment?
Can anyone really answer that question confidently?
With very specific answers
“Happiness; an emotion or a destination?”
Maybe every human needs all the elements of life to truly live to the fullest
Perhaps, all these quotes are just full of shit
Can someone truly express the essence of life in one sentence, line or phrase, one post?
But what do I really know.
